Duante`Suitman' Barnett an Seattle, WA native. He owns and operates SuitMan Productions and his first original show idea Deaf Comedy Jam was inspired by his own hearing loss and offers a show that unites both the hearing and non-hearing communities. He has been a staple of the Annual Northwest Black Comedy Festival for 3 years. where he was on the “Best Podcast” of 2020 and awarded "Best Host" of 2021 and also hosted, managed and performed in the Idaho Comedy Festival 2021.
Places like Laugh Comedy Club's Laugh Off, Jai Thai's Comedy Clash & a number of pacific northwest artists know his influences and creativity of production. All of this while being HOH and having had surgery on his left ear to restore about 40-50% of his hearing. SuitMan production is more than an entertainment company. It is a platform to give light to artists who need opportunity in a safe forum. His newest projects The Autastic Artists and Dating With Disabilities podcasts highlights entertainers and artists on the spectrum and with physical disabilities.
As a producer, Suitman hosted a different monthly showcase that inspired diversity in the comedy scene and his Opencase show offered a showcase of local talent at multiple locations in the Seattle area. Deaf Comedy Jam, Dark Brew, Mixed N Misidentified, Santa’s Naughty List, Cupid’s Rejects, Holiday Momedy, WAP : Women Are Phunny and Give Love Laugh have all been produced live. Lo-Fi Performance Gallery, Ballard Brother's, Player's Club Bar, Stage Seattle, Columbia City Theater, Cafe Red and The Palace Theater were all locations that were hosting SuitMan Productions. Over the pandemic, SuitMan productions produced 11 shows in Boise, ID at the Lounge at the End of the Universe.
Since the Pandemic, SuitMan Productions has expanded their reach with comics from all over the world on their current online shows. RAW Comedy (Ridiculously Amazing Women),The Autastic Artist and Dating With Disabilities podcasts are monthly shows offered highlighting women, women of color and artists on the spectrum. Soul Sista Sundays, Social Security Influencers, Laughing Through Recovery, Dark Brew, Mixed N Misidentified, Santa’s Naughty List, Cupid’s Rejects and Black & Proud are rotated monthly to ensure you are entertained weekly.

Duante` started doing comedy on August 7, 2018 at Caballero's in Tacoma. He was homeless during first stretch doing multiple mics a night and just using comedy to keep busy. He was sweatsuit man , not SUITMAN! Below is one of his first decent sets!
Duante` had gotten his wardrobe back and now he is in a 3 piece telling jokes. He got invited to participate in the last local showcase at the Parlor in Bellevue. He had a great set and started his SuitMan trademark.
After producing Dark Brew at Laugh's, Duante` was invited to perform in their 3rd Annual Laugh Off. He may not have won the event, but he did get some valuable stage time and performed 4 shows in two nights.
SuitMan Productions are starting to warm up. Seattle comics drove down and performed at Silver Star Saloon in Vancouver, WA with host Chris Smith. Duante` had a blast and started a trend of bringing the Seattle takeover to Vancouver.
Duante` gets all excited to have been booked at Salem Ale Works in Oregon. He performs a clean act after showing up and having 7 children in the audience! While the topics may have been close, there is no foul language in this set.
